Ok why does it matter where others go. Grow up kid. The school I go to will not affect your choices will it. If you spent more time on your schooling from what I read you will get into any college you want, so as for others leave them alone. You really think this kind of "motivation" is going to work. I'm sick if your redundant rants on how georgetown this georgetown that. Who gives a fuck, you really think that people are going to be like " OMG some random person on LJ is making fun our our school." Look at the drug bust, oh that went real well, no more drugs in g-town huh? Good one buddy.....If you have nothing but critisim then just don't post anything. Live your life and let others live their own.

All chiding aside - do you want to participate in trying to improve the schools of this town. I know you think we should concentrate on the elementary schools. But I don't think those kids are ready to mobilize yet. Would you help?
I will pay for renting a hall and taking out an ad in the Georgetown Record if just one of you would stand up and be willing to take the lead.

"King used charisma as a tool for mobilizing black communities, but he always used it in the context of other forms of intellectual and political leadership suited to a movement containing many strong leaders."
"In fact, Rosa Parks was a long-time social activist and member of the NAACP, and the NAACP in Montgomery, Alabama had planned on using this kind of event to mobilize the black community against segregation."
I think you get the context in which the word is used.
Logan, you didn't answer my question. Would you be willing to step up and do something to make the Georgetown schools better?

You can't mobilize rocks. You can't move the unmovable. You can't tame the beast. If people want change they change, but Georgetown is like a mountain, they change when the earth plates move...and those don't move very fast I may add.

No really, maybe I am your neighbor. I am not trying to be funny. Do you think I would be willing to say things I have said here to get this dialogue moving if I knew there would likely be retribution? With that said, I admire Dani because she has been willing to publically call people assholes when she wants - I am not there yet. But I also think my message comes across as much more personal, though that is not my intent. It requires you to view your own decisions and decide if your own choices have made or lost future opportunities.
