Ok I don't see the big deal about parents reading this because at least they are hearing it from somewhere... not all kids can be open with their parents... plus it is extremely tough to explain this whole situation with the LJ posting and comments and stuff…

Just FYI there is currently a Handbook committee that is changing the hand book for next year because almost all of the rules are the same as in previous years... when Mr. Fox and Mr. Lucia came in they told all of the "leaders" of the school that they weren't going to make any drastic changes... some of the changes they did make are little ridiculous but none of them are going to affect peoples education...and the decisions were made in the best interest of the students- and the changes are mostly just that seniors have to stay in school until what ever the date is, and if your 18 you can't dismiss yourself... But I think the new administration is a good change however I can say I miss Mr. Haddad and Mr. Quinn. Mr. Quinn cared a lot for every one of the students and I think he made a great effort to make sure everyone was happy with his decisions... on the other hand Mr. Lucia is coming around I recently talked to him about CRT stuff and the Day of Silence and he is being EXSTREMELY supportive and he even said he is going to try to participate in it... which is refreshing to know after a rough start that the school finally realizes why we need a CRT. But I think being new and all it’s just tough for them but next year will be better : )
