Thanks for your response. I would encourage you and the other seniors to not only get behind this effort, but to lead it. While the students should have no fear of retribution, there is nothing (credible) the school administrators can do to the seniors now. To be clear, while I blame the teachers, administrators, Board of Education and apathy of Georgetown voters, I also place a not insignificant part of the blame on the students, past and present, of GHS. You have the complete four year experience to provide the necessary insights and criticisms. I fully recognize this act would require admissions on the part of more than one student that they are not heading off to the college of their dreams; but it is exactly the contrite admission that would give this movement power.

As for my negativity in certain posts, chaulk that up to some combination of disgust and disappointment in certain cases, and my attempts at goading certain people into action. I think this answers a later post by Dani, but I went after Becca, for example, out of disappointment. I knew Becca in middle school. I expected great things of her. She is clearly very bright. Needless to say, I read a few of her LJ entries and wonder what in the world happened in the last three years. If you reveal your secrets to the wind you should not blame the wind for revealing them to the trees.
