With all do respect...Midway isn't the same class as Harvard. Sara is stating a fact. Just as Drew University isn't the same class as Harvard. Princeton and Yale are the same class as Harvard.

Saying that does not mean "in other words" that Midway (or even Drew) is a "piece of crap and Harvard is the shit."

These facts are purely based on the Princeton Review and the general opinion of colleges. Also prestige and age. Harvard has been around a lot longer than Midway or Drew. By those standards...Harvard is not necessarily BETTER than Midway or Drew.

Each college has its positive and negative atributes. Some colleges work for some and not for others. It all depends on what you're looking for.

Midway has what you are looking for so it is "the shit" for you. Drew University has what I am looking for so it is "the shit" for me.

Its all relative.

With all due respect to Sara, who obviously strived for her dreams, and Astrid who chose a path that, let's face it, is not a major at Ivy league school but nevertheless admirable - what about the rest of you?? I might agree with you if you going to spend your life working at the Bucket, but I assume we are being realistic here and assuming that you are going to get an "adult" job after college.

I agree. I believe the only way you can get a great perspective on the world and what the world is really thinking is to travel. I have learned so much by traveling around the States but I have learned much more from my cousins and family when I go to Holland yearly. GHS is a little bubble that borders a real world perspective but to really understand what the world is thinking and acting like you need to travel and talk with people all around the world.

At least thats how I see things.
