these are the days

sometimes, there are just days that don't get any better.

Yesterday, was one of the greatest days in history and I can now die peacefully.

Andrea, Terri & I went into Boston to see Drew's band (the bay state) at Bill's Bar. The show was great, we really enjoyed listening to them and laughing at the teenie-boppers in front of us. (side story: after the show Drew was talking to some fans, saw me and started walking towards me to chat when a teenie-bopper FLEW herself in front of me to ask Drew for an autograph...yes it did happen.)

After the show, the three of us went to Bertucci's to get MORE BREAD....and drinks and a lot of food. (none of us has eaten all day....so we needed serious food intake.) On the walk back to the Kenmore T station we were trying to decide what to do for the night when I feel Sly grab my arm and go "to the right." I look...and there he was....THE CHILI GUY! THE....CHILI....GUY! I was star-struck and have never been so excited in my life. I was soooo happy.

The three of us continue on our journey back to Somerville and switched trains at Park St. We get onto the car and Andrea goes "umm...I think Janice is in the car next to us." After a lot of discussion we decide to get off at Harvard (where, if it was Janice, she would be getting off.) Yes, indeed...it was Janice. After much discussion of how creepy we were, we made our presence known and I'm pretty sure Janice was scared.

The entire walk home was then all about Janice, her clothes, her life, etc etc.

Some days are just way better than others. :-)
