Oh, Dean. Hunting a bar. Now, that's humiliation. And Ben is awesome.

But Alone!Sam. No fair!

I gave him an Italian, what?

Yeah, this one kicked my ass. I knew as soon as I open Word that this was going to be a ghost!Dean and Adult!Ben convincing him that Dean isn't quite the guy who has to save the whole world and can never do it right. But Ghost!Dean means Alone!Sam.

It was either kill Sammy or marry him off and make him happy. Does it say something that I had to think about it a long time?

Thanks!

I don't envy the show writers trying to come up with a good series finale. Tying everything up in a satisfactory manner? It's like handling fifty pounds of dynamite near an open flame.

Cheers!

This was awesome. I think I might make this my own personal canon.

*nods* My first attempt at a fix-it fic. I'm not buying that Ben and Lisa will be left alone just because they don't remember Dean.

Thanks for the comment!

Yeah, me either. And there's just so much physical evidence that simply has to be there, stuff that Castiel simply wouldn't consider.

No kidding. At first I was all, "Angel of the Lord" and then I thought that one over again and edited it to, "Angel of the Lord who cannot set up his voicemail and is learning to define "normal human behavior" from hunters." Wiping memories and healing Lisa was the easy part.

I LOVE LOVE the style of narration here, bb. It was very end of S5-esque for me. Lovely pacing and the way all the people in Dean's life tied in at the end, with him asking...Ben all grown up and independant and actually a fleshed-out character, yes please. I didn't like Lisa, Ben near the end at ALL. So, this? This, I love! Thank you for a lovely read! *mems*

*fistpump* YES. YES. EXACTLY. I was going for that feel that this was Chuck narrating like in Swan Song. Without copying his "writing is hard" stuff, because that would be too obvious, I didn't know if I'd conveyed it properly. Whooo, you rock. Thanks for saying that, you just made my day.

I had to fix Ben. He's a cool kid who thinks it's pussy to have adults fix your problems! He likes classic rock! I'm not listening to you, Show! *fingers in ears*

Thank you for such a thoughtful comment!
