Yehoo, the electric guy came by today to fix our tumble-dryer, to no avail it turned out as he had to order a part... but now, at least, we know that there's hope for a better future, a future where I can do more than one load of laundry per day!
Hmm... Ö had to go to the ER again last night. He's been having trouble breathing and last night was as bad as the night before so he went back to the ER where they gave him some meds and stuff. I don't know all the details as I didn't go with him. I don't very much like hospitals and I don't very much like the idea of sitting in the ER (surrounded by sick ppl) all night. Am I being selfish? It wasn't like he had to go on his own, his mother drove him there so she kept him company. If she hadn't gone with him, of course I would've gone. I'm not cruel.
I applied for a job yesterday. The job doesn't start 'til after the summer hols but it'd be nice to know I had somewhere to go in August. I hate it like it is now, I have no job = no money to either spend or to pay bills with. So Ö has to take care of all the expenses, ok he makes a decent amount of money each month, but I don't like being so dependent on him. I'm gonna look for more jobs today. But the thing is that I am fairly picky when it comes to jobs. I think it's rather a waste of time and money to have studied for a BA and then work as a telesales person. I just won't do that. I have more pride than that. My ideal job would be at the international office at
HIT but those jobs aren't easy to come by, unfortunately. So in the meantime I'll have to work some place that's preferably not a sales job... I hate telephone sales people with a fiery passion!
Praise to LJ. My computer just crashed, I had to restart the whole thing and LJ saved me my entry!!
Another very incoherent message from me, not much is happening so don't really have anything to write about.
I made spinach and salmon tarte for dinner last night and it was delicious. I added a few other things than what the recipe said to use because last time I made this dish the flavours weren't very... how to put it, perfect might be the right word, but yesterday I made it to perfection. I am very proud of myself! Oh I know, maybe I should start a food blog... or maybe not.
However, something I want to do, and will hopefully soon start to do is digital scrapbooking. It's such a great alternative to the paper version, which just costs a lot of money and which I will never ever get round to actually doing. So I think d. scrapbooking is perfect for me. I'll look into it today or so.
