Well I just went through it last night. I don't...feel different but I know I am, and I don't particularly like what I've been changed into.

So...yea. It's a little hard.

...but it can also help people in ways, I think. So I'm just trying to look on the bright side.

I'm sure your friends still care deeply for you whatever the change may be. They are friends after all, they might just need time to adjust because they're not sure what the change means to you and it's always a little difficult know whether you should change your own behavior or not when something big happens to someone you care about.

Oh dear! You haven't had time to adjust at all... At least I've had time to get used to things. I should try to look on the bright side of things too... I'm really well off if I think about it.

You're right... And they do care, otherwise they wouldn't have worked so hard to hide me, and give me a good life...

That's the way to look at it. I know it's kinda cliche, but it's what's on the inside that counts.

And who knows, if you still wish to return to how things were before, there are probably methods. Where there's a will, there's a way!

That's right! My friends tell me that, so it really has to be true!

I don't think it's possible... It's a bit too severe a change for that, although I've tried really hard! All the fairies and magic and love in the world won't bring back what's been taken from me. Alien technology might just work though!
