I don't mean to be vague, but it really would take a while to go into all the nuances.

I suppose it's a sign that I've become too complacent if I fear status quo that I've established being disrupted. It may be a good thing, in the end. But, for the time being, it's uncomfortable.

And I see that you have your own reservations about the fall out of your situation. I think, perhaps, you aren't giving them enough credit if you think they will begrudge you forgiveness for an entity you could not control.

Ah. Then... I don't know what else to say. I think a large portion of the asylum does not have much of an attention span. Hopefully, it will pass from the memory of most.
