I always have to wonder who's doing what to get themselves labeled a traitor. Especially if it involves Renji.

It's... complicated. Though, I think it's less being labelled a traitor and more being killed on the spot if someone finds out.

That's not a solution, that's insanity! You need to get out of it. The Renji I know would never let someone make a deal with the devil himself just to save him...

I don't have a choice. I refused to betray the Gotei, but unless I do what he says, he'll kill them. Every single one of them, just to make sure he gets the right one.
