The more I learn about my pre-Edensphere life, the more I begin to feel like my life here is better in a lot of ways.

Largely, yes. The person most important to me is here with me, and I have friendships I truly cherish.

Sometimes I feel like I'm only going through the daily motions of getting up and going to work and stuff because I have to, not because I get any enjoyment out of it.

I don't want to die or disappear or anything, but I wish I could feel passionate and excited about life again.

I hate to admit it, but this place is really starting to feel like more of a home than a prison.

I feel I am the odd one out in saying this, but I don't regard this place as home. I resent the place itself.

The people are another story. Some have become very dear to me. Leaving, perhaps not seeing them again, would be worth it if I could guarantee that the life they would return to would be a good one.

I can't guarantee this. This is where the crux of my problem lies.
