match day!
i haven't been able to watch a match in a long, long time due to new school responsibilities and old work constraints, and i have missed my team. TERRIBLY.
real madrid v. getafe
i'm a fan of teamwork and it feels that i am watching real madrid a team as opposed to real madrid, galaxy of stars. not to say there isn't merit in both or that we even had that last season, just one provokes a better response for me. this game wasn't perfect, a bit loose in our ball handling *snerk*, but expected after the break i think. i felt the magic though! magic and the goals amazing. the cross from cristiano to benzema was pure awesome! amazing skill, honestly. and then pipa! i was distracted at the way his body moved from the sideline and then he took a knock and scored that goal in exactly the way he always had. i can't lie, i had a moment right then, and i was so fucking proud of him and realized how terribly i missed him over the last season.
