I'm going to boldly predict a fashion in the next three years: people are going to buy old sewing machines and start making their own clothes as a final contempt of culture combined with the downturn of the economy. Crafting has re-emerged as a subculture. All the pieces fit.

Then, clothing lines will sell their own cloth. Current fabric companies will rebrand themselves, or new ones will take their place.

And everyone will just collapse of exhaustion.
