sunday continued:
- after sitting with and watching the artist draw on the giant dunny, we helped usher people out of the comics and pop art alley. littl' bobby came by and we talked and decided to wait in line for the masquerade costume contest with the hopes that someone would bring us food. (later when kandy returned from taking care of sassy at home, he did in fact do that.) the show was quite spectacular, i finished off some drinks with jennie at the main bar and we came home.
monday:
- up at 7am to be at the comics and pop art alley at 930am. we handled the front door until 1pm or so. had lunch w/ jennie and decided not to go to the futurama panel (because they were no announced guests, just clips of a new seasons that we wouldn't be able to see anyway...) to hit up the dealer room one more time and ran around trying to turn in our time sheets. we went through the comics n pop art area one more time (we felt our money would be better spent with actual artists than bootleggers and flimsy kimono importers), helped out a bit more and headed off. we were invited to the dead dog party tonight, but no one (none of the directors!!!) knew where that was going to be held or had tix to dispense for this event for volunteers...even tho it was in less than 3 hours when we left. huh. next year.
