I'm trying to make a skirt out of a pair of jeans that are too short for me...and it's really hard. I can't get the back right, but so far I've just taken out the seams on the inside and cut it and pined it a little, i need to start sewing, but i'm kind of afraid of the sewing machine.

and my back hurts from bending over the....artical of clothing.
