[reveries] Freeman quote

Aug 18, 2009 20:19

"The goal of life is to take everything that made you weird as a kid and get people to pay you money for it when you're older."
-David Freeman

"Would you say you were a nosy kid," Kenda asked. Remy was leaning against the wall, his hand to his forehead. He looked over at her, the kids passing. "They have no idea," she said into his ear. "No idea that when they return there'll be a camera crew waiting."

"No, they don't," Remy said, shrugging her off. He wasn't in the mood to talk. He hadn't seen Will in a few weeks save for on stage. He made sure to leave flowers before leaving. His brother had cried wolf again. By the time Remy had returned Will had gone home. It was already too late.

"Were you a shrink when you were younger?" the exec asked, sipping her coffee.

"I'm not a shrink," he corrected.

"Fine. Were you nosy?"

"You asked that," he said, crossing his arms.

"I did."

He grimaced and she smirked.

"I gave a lot of advice."

"Knew it," Kenda said, making her way down the hallway. "See you on Monday, Doc."
