Mrf. Just finished the last volume (12 total).
That was... wow. Crash and burn. The series went on long enough, and from the main character's point of view that we (the readers), or at least, I... came to accept him and was, up 'til the very end, hoping that he would get around it.
Must say, his death was... crappy. It was completely and utterly without grace. Still, he got what was coming to him, I suppose.
