(no subject)

There are many things that provoke my anger; two such things are heat and Asian women. My primary goal for the afternoon at work today was to coat 200 flasks with gelatin. This would have been easily accomplished had I not been subjected to a lab with no ventilation and having to work next to a Chinese woman that would not stop asking me questions or talking to me or just generally bothering me.

I found out that my girl in CBAT like Nine Inch Nails, so she is now 75% cooler than everyone else, but she is left handed. This is not going to work...I got to work in her hood, but everything is all back asswards.

The auntie and uncle need to go on their little vacations soon; the central air needs to be on. This mutli-million dollar house is set-up rather retartedly. There are two air control units, one for the first half of the first floor and another for the second half of the first floor as well as the whole second floor. I have taken up residence in the second floor; there is a TV room, two bedrooms, and a bathroom. It would be great, except that it is hot as hell up here. Unfortunately, the auntie and uncle's bedroom is also controlled by the same unit and they seem to enjoy the heat. I guess that is why they are moving to Florida, they are not old. When they leave, you will be able to see your breathe in here.

Aside from the anger issues today, there was not much else going on. Tomorrow I am going to be at my computer most of the day setting up an e-room with histological pictures of tissue samples from animals subjected to acute wounds subsequent treatments based on our group's studies. Granted, I did not actually perform the study (not that I could anyway), but going through the pictures will help in a more global understanding of what I am doing this summer. I really do not get to do much in vivo work, even though that is the really the only way to test what we do. Despite being the only way, animal models are often lacking in several areas, so several models have to be used concurrently. It is unfortunate that we cannot test on humans. There are so many useless people out there.

Things are coming full circle on a cannibalistic level - "Red Dragon" was on last night and now "The Silence of the Lambs" is on tonight, score! Fear the brutal sophistication of Anthony Hopkins...

The grandmother's birthday is today (and Erik's - Happy Birthday), she requested that I make margaritas when I get home Friday. That is my Friday night, but hopefully there will be other things to do this weekend, besides working at Acme. Although, I have found that I am a work-aholic (among other -aholics); I have not been leaving Ethicon until like 6:00 PM, even though I have been there since 8:00 AM.

A preview for "Batman Begins" just came on; this movie needs to be watched by me. June 15, what are you doing?
