So I finally made a decision...
I am still going to go to Russia. I'm 18, well I will be 19, so I think I need to just suck it up, grow up, and not be such a scare-dy cat. I'm sure the host family can't be all that bad, well at least that's what I'm banking my decision on. Plus, I really want to be able to learn more Russian and see the country from a family point of view by staying with a host family. Even if I don't get along with my family, I'll still learn an invaluable amount that I wouldn't have if I didn't go. I just hope that the trip does run smoothly, everything works out, and I have a great time. I'm very excited about going because I really want out of the country.
I don't know about my trip to Morocco. If I get my scholarship I'll go, but I'll have to miss my final week in Russia which is all tourism stuff. That kind of sucks because it was my fun week, but I cannot turn down a 'prestigious' (so my scholarship adviser and professor said) government scholarship that would provide me with an excellent job when I graduate. And if I don't get the scholarship, I'm staying home and taking summer classes to knock out some pesky general education requirements.
So I'm just glad I made a decision and it's all finalized. What a weight off my mind man...
