Kilt squee
OK, so class is starting in 5 minutes and this is my first chance to write up my experiences since coming to Edinburgh a week and two days ago.
Sunday: Had breakfast and went to Fringe Sunday in Meadows Park. Had tents with comedy, theatre, music etc with previews of Fringe shows. Informative. Had fun. Mudied up my Converse. Horay for Scottish weather. Slept for the first time since Thursday.
Monday: English class begins. Got put in the top level. Went on a little excursion around Edinburgh with other newcomers.
Tuesday: Got lost a lot. In the rain.
Wednesday: Went to Voga, a geek shop that specialises in Doctor Who stuff. Bought a deck of cards of the Classic series and a mug with a Dalek and Cyberman on it. Possibly the most childish thing I own. I LOVE IT! Also, snuck into Balmoral Hotel and took pictures in front of room 552, where JK Rowling completed book 7. It's called the JK Rowling suite now. It's got a brass owl on the door. Also, went to Camera Obscura, a museum of optical illusions and had a nice panoramic view of Edinburgh.
Thursday: Went with some classmates to a free showing of the Millitary Tattoo, Dynamic Earth, a science museum, climbed up to Arthur's Seat and took kick-ass photos.
