For some reason Mugglenet has a malicious site warning. Perhaps the upsurge of visitors due to the recent announcement has attracted hackers.

Here's the press release about J K Rowling's new book:

It will be published by Little, Brown (rather than Scholastic and Bloomsbury as her previous books) in both print and e-book form. It will be for adults and the title and publication date haven't been announced yet.

J.K. Rowling said:

"Although I've enjoyed writing it every bit as much, my next book will be very different to the Harry Potter series, which has been published so brilliantly by Bloomsbury and my other publishers around the world. The freedom to explore new territory is a gift that Harry's success has brought me, and with that new territory it seemed a logical progression to have a new publisher. I am delighted to have a second publishing home in Little, Brown, and a publishing team that will be a great partner in this new phase of my writing life."

I gotta admit, when I found out I gasped loudly, flailed, and laughed at myself for a while. I miss her writing.

PS. The old desk at her website is gone! Seems  jkrowling.com is going to be re-vamped. I hope all the old info won't be deleted, though. Good I backed-up the scrapbook stuff just in case.

i have a kindle now, j k rowling, i'll be able to own this book instantly, my childhood, books
