beliefs!
ok im in world civ and marchese isnt here, our assignment was to write a 5 paragraph essay on waht we stand for. we had to choose like 3 words or something nd write how we feel about them or w/e. im not sure if i did it right but i thought it sounded pretty good and would like to share it with you all!!
The three words that I stand for are peace, equality, and independence. I believe a world, even a person, should have each of these qualities. There are so many other words, and qualities that people should stand for but I feel these three are most important. A perfect world would involve these qualities and many more.
Peace is something everyone should have. Violence is not the answer but most political figures do not know what else to do but fight. I personally don’t thing a war was the right choice after 9/11 and these so called “weapons of mass destruction.” So many of our people are dying overseas, not to mention the terrorist just captured a Cardinal! Fighting a war is not the right way to show them that flying planes into a building is wrong. And these weapons of mass destruction?? Where are they? We have yet to find them. I don’t even think there are any. I mean, come on, we got Saddam Hussein and his sons, those are the people supposedly with the weapons, but we have found no weapons. A lot of times I feel war is just hypocrisy. Fighting to show fighting isn’t right? Well, that’s not right.
I believe everyone should be treated equally. Just because someone is a different race, religion, or cultural background doesn’t mean you should treat them differently. You skin color doesn’t matter because if I cut a black man and a white man open, they both bleed the same color, RED. Everyone in this world, whether or not you believe this, was created equally in God’s eyes. He didn’t create us to all be exactly the same because if our world was like that it would be so boring! It doesn’t matter what is on the outside, it’s what is on the inside that counts. Some of the best people happen to be the people who were or are discriminated against. Look at all the African-American people who changed our world because they didn’t stand for what society wanted. Don’t follow what society says is right or wrong, do what you think is right or wrong. Society should not rule your life. It’s your life, you live it how you want, and not how society wants you to.
Independence is a great thing. I don’t think you should be dependent on everyone you meet. I’m not saying being independent all the time and never let other people do anything for you. I’m saying dos tuff for you. Don’t make other people do the things you should. Yes, you should be dependent on maybe one person, two or three at the most, but only for things like listening. Have someone to listen to you when you are upset or just need to vent. But don’t be totally dependent on them. Depend on yourself because you never know when the person you have depended on is going to fail. You can’t trust everyone to do everything for you. If you don’t learn how to be dependent while your growing up, when your are grown up you are going to be so lost in the real world. It’s not as easy as it look. You need to be independent because you can’t always trust other people to do things for you. One day they may not be there and you will be screwed because you have depended on them for how ever long. Depend on yourself, at least then you know this person will never fail you. Even though sometimes you may feel like you fail yourself, you’re not. Being independent is hard but you have to learn it sometime.
I have so many more opinions and strong feelings on what I stand for. These are just three major things I feel you should have in yourself. I also believe very strongly that you should just be YOU. Society bugs me. They tell you how to act, how to dress, how to look. It’s so stupid! Act like you, dress like you, look like you. You have to be yourself and stand up for what you believe. You have to live your life, not society and peers. Just be peaceful, be equal, and independent. But above all, be yourself!

hmm lets see..am i good or am i good?!? i set dan nd gable up for snowball nd now they are going out! how cute! oh yeah, i had an interesting alarm clock this morning.. the police banging on my door at 6am, april is still missing nd they still think she is with us so i have a feeling as long as shes missing the cops will b at our house randomly, so yeah...the new apt isnt that bad, its nicer, bigger, nd quieter! like TOO quiet, we have nobody living downstairs nd my mom things that there is no one next store either, so its not that bad, hmm dance was good, im lovin our dances this year, especially hip-hop nd my solo. its tap nd so far looks hott!! im scared cuz i dont do tap often but im gonna practice nonstop, i even have a garage now so i can tap in there to practice nd scuff my taps up(i was slippin like CRAZYY at dance last night) hmmm...wat else is goin on?? uhhh i have no idea... iight thats all for now!
