My gas station experience

Jul 23, 2005 16:59

Getting gas is pretty routine. You pump it, you go in to pay for it, you drive away.

This one was far from. So I get out to start pumping my gas. I hear someone lewdly shout, You're hot. Or something along those lines. Again, very lewd. So I ignore it. Not interested.

Finish pumping my gas. Go in the pay. Guy who shouted the loud remark is in line. He insists I skip, so I do. Then, as I am paying, he asked me if I heard him. Do I answer? NO!!!! After I pay as quickly as I can (you can't go that fast with a credit card) I rush out.

I'm running in front of my car. I see a we spot, but my body doesn't register it. I keep going. Just want to get away from this MORTIFYING ordeal. SLIP on the grease spot. Break my fall on on knee and my front bumper. I get up like nothing happened.

And then my dad asks me why I fell. Oh... nothing. Slippery spot. You know, you should walk nicely. Umm.. sure.
