My Bohemian Love, Sail Away

Jul 10, 2005 20:35

Swinging side to side
Autumn winds rustle by
Leaves fall light and paint the earth
Sun rising from its daily birth
The ships are ready for voyage
The sails lift with instant flare
Day awakens sleepy eyes with blue skies so fair
Sailors call out their ready
Ships rocking steady...

Gulls call from the heavens
Bohemian women line the shore

Oh, do they give such sweet fairwells

The ring of broken champagne bottles float on the breeze
Fathers who sail fall to their knees
Kisses land on wives and children
The men are leaving
The anchors rise while the ocean falls
Sail away, sail away
Please come home someday.
