I thought I would take a few minutes to update before I head to bed. I just got in (around 2) from Brookline. Kim and I had dinner with Cheryl at this cute little Irish pub onn Harvard Street in Brookline Village. Dinner was wonderful (the food) and the company was fabulous. I'd forgotten just how much I love Cheryl. She really is this amazing woman, wonder woman if I may. She is going through a divorce right now, and she is so strong, I have to admire her for that. We got to talk about a lot of silly things, and also the more serious things as well. When I first moved to Massachusetts I thought it was was weird that my cousin Julie had a really close friendship with a former professor of hers, now I totally understand how it can happen, I can so see myself still being great friends with Cheryl in 20 years. She told us that she found a log cabin that she's put an offer down for, so hopefully she'll get lucky and they'll accept her offer. I really just want her to be happy, she of all people deserves it.
After dinner Kim and I did homework in 247 with Kari. We got over newsletters (after a bit of difficulty) printed at MIS. They'll be all set for proofing by Coni tomorrow during class at 4. I started working on my flash final, but once again couldn't get my movie clip to work within my button and got very frustrated and gave up for the day. So then Kim and I tried to watch the second half of the gender show on the website, and of course it hasn't been archived yet, so its just looping right now, and it has no audio. So we couldn't take notes and write our response papers for Gender & Society, totally pissed me off. Then I went to look at my typeface specimen book, and of course none of the changes I made yesterday got saved because MIS thought it would be A-okay to let the licenses expire, which meant quark had to use an emergency key. So needless to say I was more than irate. After a little break to calm down, I sat down and re-did the changes. I think it looks better today. After I finished that up Kim and I watched our episode of the gender show minus the audio and add our own soundtrack, it was quite funny.
This weekend I'm going phone shopping with my Squiggward. I think we're going to Methuen again so we can see the same guy. I leave for Maine a week from this Friday, and Finals are next week. It's getting down to crunch time, but I'm not feeling as stressed, so it's okay.
I think it's time for bed, I'm one sleepy little boy.
