Sort of a summary of this break.
My mother bought tickets to see Juanes in April!
This is my early birthday present. (My birthday is in 18 days, by the way)
Nothing new to report here. I'm going back to Miami tomorrow, so I've been doing a bunch of random errands today. I have yet to finish up my laundry and pack, but that can wait because I'm going shopping later today with my sister.
I managed to earn about a thousand dollars by working at First Watch this break, but I only have about $800 to keep in my bank account because I somehow managed to spend the other $200 on Christmas and a few other things.
This semester is already giving me a hard time, despite the fact that it hasn't even started. I'm being harrassed by my advisor and all these fucking grade policies, so I really have to think about my career path upon arriving on campus. I think I'll go to the career counseling place and finally figure out what I should do with my life. I hate this bullshit and I'm tired of it.
I got my eighth note tattoo touched up finally the other day, and I must admit that it actually hurt this time. I didn't take a couple of Aleve before getting it done because I found out that it thins out your blood or something and that's not really something you want to do before getting a tattoo. Anyway, I got the colors redone a bit. It's now outlined in black, and the bottom is dark blue and fades up to light blue as it reaches the stem. It's a little scabby now, but I'm sure it'll look fantastic once it's healed.
During this whole break, I slept in my mother's bed, which is extremely comfortable. It also caused me to have very strange dreams that I wish I wrote down because they really are bizarre. But I am well-rested and that's all that matters.
My new year resolution is to make the best out of everything that happens. I'm going to be happy, and not let anything bother me. Bad things will be lessons, and I will grow from my experiences. This is going to be a good year, damn it.
Two things I am most looking forward to this semester (and more particularly, the next few weeks):
1. seeing Alice
2. going on some crazy fast/diet and losing tons of weight. Oh yes, and continue exercising.
Okay, that's pretty much all I have to say for today. I think I'm going to try to make more frequent updates. Being in school = boredom = laying around = LJ updates.
