I can see clearly now...
I always wondered why some guys never get dates, or get asked on one date and then the person who asks them out changes his phone number. The truth is a lot of guys just lack basic social manners, lack a real sense of humor, smoke cigarettes, and/or much less know and understand the basics of socializing.
I went out to the local leather/levi/man's bar tonight with no intention but just talking to my friends. I saw a guy who I was potentially interested in. Our eyes met...and I approached him. He seemd to be pleased...and we chatted for a bit...and found out there he was from Riverside...about an hour-and-a-quarter north of San Diego. He seemed like a nice chap... Then I gave him my web address for the purpose of him to be able to communicate with me before his next trip to San Diego. I wrote down the address...and I joked...not only could he see in short order if we had truly something in common but, I laughed, "you can buy a T-shirt with my face on it."
He then suddenly pulled back...."that's certainly not attractive" and got all weird on me.... To that I said, "have a nice life" as he pulled out yet another cigarette and went back to sitting in the corner playing with his gold pinky ring.
