Heat waves and hangouts
I'm glad this heat wave here in LA is over, though. It's still warm but not unbearably so. Last week was insane. Record temperatures. And since it's the Valley, it gets worse. It was so bad on Saturday night I could barely sleep. It was so bad on Sunday that I actually rode the Orange Line, Red Line and Gold Line all over town JUST to I could enjoy their air conditioning. Seriously. I only got off at Union Station and walked across to Olvera Street for lunch.

My friend Mike and I were gonna hang out last weekend, but he cancelled. Something came up at the last minute.
My other friend Ryan gets back from the navy...tonight, actually. Him, and some other friends; Ryan M, Edwin and I (and maybe some other people, including Mike who I've invited but he has yet to get back to me) are gonna meet in Little Tokyo (in Downtown) at noon on Monday. That should be fun. They are old high school buddies. My old old crew! =D
