I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. I have to say, mine was great. First and foremost I want to thank Lyn,
ineedsafe , for the paid account time. You are an awesome friend and you gave me probably the only surprise I had this Christmas since I figured out what most of my gifts were ahead of time. Thank-you so much Lyn!
I went over my oldest sister’s house for Christmas Eve. It turned out to be more fun than I thought it would be. My whole family was practically there as well as my sister’s husband’s family. There was so much food, I got full just looking at it. There was lasagna, macaroni and meatballs, and chicken. There were the cookies I made, cookies my sister made, and a cake from an Italian bakery. I ate so much. After we stuffed ourselves, we exchanged gifts. I told my sister I wasn’t opening anything until Christmas day. She begged me like she usually does, but I wouldn’t give in. I liked watching everyone else open their gifts though. She opened the present I got her and she really liked it. It was a scented candle. She is a candle nut so I knew I couldn’t go wrong with buying her one. My other two sisters opened their gifts as well and I was happy they liked what I gave them. My three year old niece opened all the gifts that the family had brought. She got so many toys. It was really cute how excited she was getting each time someone gave her a gift. She got at least five dolls. I was in charge of taking them out of the box for her. Damn, they really secure those things in the box. It took me like a half an hour to get one of them free. After she had finished opening all the gifts, she gave me a look that said, “Is that it?” LOL! My nephews got a plasma screen TV for Christmas. My sister spoils her kids like crazy. Even though they opened gifts already, they still had a stack of gifts under the tree. We ended up going downstairs to the den and watching Nickelodean Christmas specials On Demand on the new TV. We watched Doug, which I haven’t see in years. We also watched Rocket Power. I used to love that show. When we got home, we all watched “A Christmas Story” on TBS. We have the movie but we always end up watching the marathon on TBS anyway.
On Christmas morning, I got up around eleven to open presents. That is so late compared to how early I used to get up to open gifts when I was younger. I remember one year getting up at like five to open my presents. My mom opened the earrings I gave her and she loved them. She wore them during Christmas dinner. I got a lot of nice gifts. I knew what most of them were as you probably already know if you read my previous entry. I got some clothes, a really pretty pink and silver necklace and earring set (It turned out to be both lol), a Hello Kitty calendar (I knew it!), two pairs of slippers (one from my mom, one from my sister), an Itunes card, Supernatural DVDs, a pink I-Dog, The Sims 2 Pets, a watch, Snowman pajamas, a bracelet, and a purse. I think there’s more too, but I can’t think of it right now. I actually have a couple things that I have to exchange, but I’m not in a big hurry to go to the mall again. My grandparents came over for Christmas dinner, as well as my two brothers. We had roast beef, no lasagna this time since we already ate it at my sister’s house. It was delicious. I made the Christmas tree cake for dessert too. It was a good time.
The only downside to the whole thing is that it rained on Christmas day instead of snowed. It stinks too that Christmas is over. New Year’s Eve is only four days away and then I will be back in school before I know it. Gag me! I really meant to end this on a positive not. Guess not lol. Sorry :D
