Since I don’t want everyone to think I am the most negative person on the planet, I am going to put a slightly positive spin on this week's events ( Read more... )

Whoo hoo! Glad you stood up to your teacher. *waves pom poms*

Aaaanyway:

"Didn’t you know it is the writers’ plan to make Dean look bad in order to “push” Sam on people? Yeah right. Whatever. Keep telling yourself that people."

Heh, totally. I can't stand it when DeanGirls whine. Fuck that. Dean got four freaking episodes all about his angst to start the season and there are still some DeanGirls whining that they don't like emoSam and didn't like this episode. Well fuck that, maybe the world doesn't revolve around what you and you along like to watch, eh?

Hee, uh, yeah, I want to post that on the boards but don't, because I'd be making more work for the moderator.

"Also, where is this roadhouse located? How come no matter where the boys go, the roadhouse is always nearby?"

Ha ha, ever seen/read "Howl's Moving Castle"? I'm convinced that Ellen has a fire demon in the basement and it's "Harvelle's Moving Roadhouse".

I didn't like Ellen's pokiness in this episode either. If she does end up blabbing to other hunters and getting them to hunt Sam, it'll frankly serve the boys right for telling her about it. Frankly, though I find Ash amusing, the boys have got to get back to doing their own research on cases. Sam is sexy on a laptop, yo.

I liked it when Sam and Dean blew off Jo. I don't dislike her, per se, but I'd rather feel sorry for her having an unrequited crush than try to be convinced that Dean and/or Sam are into her.

Thanks :)

These EDGs are really pissing me off. I am so sick of their BS. Now they are arguing that all Sam does is whine about his powers, and he didn't care that Andy saved Dean. I mean get over it. I actually posted at TWoP because I couldn't take it any longer. I got warned for supposedly attacking people. I didn't know telling people they had a double standard was considered attacking people. I also was told that I am telling people what to think. All I said was, "If you forgive Dean for everything he does because you say you understand his motivations, you should also take Sam's motivations into consideration before you jump on him." I didn't know that was telling people what to think.

I also was told not to assign people "absurd" motivations. I asked if people watch the show just to find ways to pick on Sam. So I said, "I didn't assign anyone "absurd" motivations. If everytime I come here and I see Sam's actions or words slanted in such a way that he is portrayed as the villain, what am I to think? It makes me think that some people might be looking for ways in which Sam's words can be taken out of context." I probably should have asked if they watched the show with ways to pick on Sam in mind. If you go to the Simon Said thread and see that convo, that's me.

The person I was talking to over there feigned niceness but he or she was being so condescending. I wanted to say, don't talk to me like I'm five and quit being board pet with the whole "we aren't allowed to talk about the boards" crap. How is talking about Sam being bashed not related to the show? Ughhhhhhh! I'm so upset.

I never read that but Fire demon in the basement! HA! I think I'm starting to be convinced that Ellen is indeed evil and Jo is all part of the plan. I find Ash amusing as well, but yeah I miss Sam and the laptop as well. I love Geekboy!Sam :D

I dislike Jo and what makes me dislike her even more is that Sam and Dean have to save her. I much rather Dean have to save Sam instead of Jo.

I went over and read it. Funny, there's been plenty of discussion about viewer opinion, perception, and prejudice in relation to Jo, and no one's complained about it being "about the board."

Oh well. We are the few, the proud, the SamGirls.

Yes and that is what makes us strong too because when you are a Sam girl, you have to be tough. I was over there again, and I was so tempted to post after this one comment that Sam does not know how to differentiate between killers of innocents and killers of evil. I feel like tearing out my hair.

"I much rather Dean have to save Sam instead of Jo."

Hmmm... actually, I'd like to Sam have to be saved less often. It's sweet, but it's kind of adding to the perception of Sam as a pussy. I itch to see hiim get to more effectively lay a smackdown on the baddies, more often.

Well I am a big fan of Hurt!Sam and Protective!Dean so I can't help it. I do like to see Sam lay the smackdown on badguys though too. I liked when he was kicking ass in Bloodlust. Too bad he got hit over the head with the phone :(

I like the Hurt Sam and Protective Dean so long as they don't have the attack on Sam be lame. Bloody Mary? Awesome. Trapped in the cage in Benders and happy to see Dean? Totally awesome. Getting whapped on the back of the head with phones and sticks, not so much.

I have to agree with you there. I like more life threatening things myself lol.
