ahhh... summer
well first day of summer and what do i do? i fracture my ankle, at the beach with some friends. The FIRST day of summer!!!-oh the irony...
see it all starts with after we go to marisa's and eat all her food, and go to the park, and jennings n' bobby having to give me a boost up the tree to get Nik's shoe that Jennings so nicely put up there... we went back to marisa's and jennings left and then me, karen, kelly, stephanie, marisa,Nik, bobby, aaron, and alex went to the beach. we took sum pictures and then me n' marisa decide to go do the baywatch run in the tidepool. then kelly n' karen come. so we all are getting out and the place that i decide to get out of suddenly steps and gets really deep. So i loose my balance and as i'm trying to catch myself my left ankle gets caught in a hole some kid must have been digging. my ankle cracks out to the side and my leg gives in and i just fall on top of my ankle. when i get out of the water i can't stand on my left foot and it looks like i have a huge golfball logded under my skin. then kelly and aaron make me go to the lifeguard and so nik has to carry me over there.
omg! i never knew how many HOT lifeguards there were at the beach. wowzers. the guy calls for the beach truck to come pick me up and then when it comes there's five more lifeguards and so i make steph come with me bc i'm scared. then we go to the lifeguard house and i have to get my ankle taped to an enourmous bag of ice and then the lifeguard guy says to call my mom and that i'm going to have to go to the hospital. well then everyone comes to say goodbye and my mom comes and then this this this totally good-looking guy who could probably win mr. america beauty pagent (if there was such a thing) and his friend who isn't too bad off come in and insist on CARRYING me!!! well his friend picks me up and smells really nice... lol and then mr. america insists on holding my leg so it doesn't get hurt. oh wow! if i could only have gotten a picture... i think kelly's mom said that kelly got one of me with the five hot lifeguards and steph riding in the car but i'm not sure.
the worst part was telling the lifeguard guy taping my ankle that i hurt it by doing baywatch in the tidepool and then he says "see what you get when you mock us lifeguards?" and i'm like i wasn't mocking yall! wutever... they have a HUGE stash of surfboards in there, and we could hear some of the lifeguards yelling and singing when they were cleaning out the truck. but anyways once i was in the car and my mom was driving me to solantic the song Graduation by Vitamin C came on and i started crying bc i didn't get to say goodbye. once in solantic i had to get in a wheelchair and they took some x-rays and stuff and then i got a splint the lady said it should be pink since it's the same color of my swimsuit that i was wearing. hardy har har. so now i'm on crutches and i can't feel my biceps or triceps or wutever u call those muscles in your arms..
and i have learned an important lesson from all this too. the ppl from baywatch used stuntdevils for the frolicking scenes bc frolicking is DANGEROUS!
on the bright side, this time friday i'll be able to beat the unbeatable Karen at arm wrestling. (if my arms harden into hardcore muscles and not this jello of pain.)
