A mild request

It has come to my attention recently that more people than I thought, or at least different people than I thought, read my journal. Basically I expect that the people who have friended me may or may not read it, and that a random person might stumble upon it now and then, and that's it. To those people who are not on my friends list, and who do read my journal regularly, or have read significant portions of it, I say this: Of course it is your right to read whatever bullshit I care to flippantly publish to the internet. I realize that all this is "out there" and anyone can read it, and I like it that way. I've never made a locked post (I think, but I'm too lazy to check). It is a little hard for me to imagine that anyone who doesn't know me can find my journal very interesting, but that's your business. Anyway, my request is this: if you read my journal and I don't know it (if you're not on my friend's list for instance) let me know. Leave a comment. It makes me feel loved. Or at least not ignored.

In other news, it is the perfect time of the year. As Dave might say, "The nerds are getting frisky!" In other words it is spring. Seriously, classes should have been canceled today. The university cannot expect students who have been hiding in the depths of Cleveland winter in their dorms all year (affectionately termed "mole people") to walk to class in the warmth and sunshine.
