I really, really like this story. The sense of apartness - how the narrator is in the world, but not in it. That was just so well done. I also really love all the little scientific asides about no heat transfer, no blood flow, etc. I thought this was a really great and interesting take on the theme and was really happy to read it :)

I like the dialogue. The story makes I empathize with Jed's sense of disconnection with the world, and how his character development isn't contrived. Thanks for the good read!
