I don't think I'll ever get over the image of the terrible Dread King being dragged along on dates to coffee shops for apple pie. OMG. So funny.

The dark-haired, evil, introverted (can't show his feelings) Dark Lord and the blonde-haired, kind, flippant (never had anything bad happen to him) Thyrian make a cute couple.

I also really love the twist ending, and how the apple, ring and carnation are used to "defeat" the Dread King in a totally unexpected way!
