Guess I'm lucky to be in the position I am. I hold out hope that most everything the tree does to us is temporary. My worst punishment lasted the better part of a month. Anything less than that I can deal with.

Speech style mainly, I guess. Trying to get better at imagining what people look like from how they talk in writing. 'Course how I last saw you doesn't count.

This time around there was a physical reason for our being bl what happened, though. [Reason enough for Cloud to be worried.]

Interesting way to do it, though that can be kind of misleading.

I've been wrong a few times to be sure, but not enough that I'm gonna stop guessing.
