[Water drips on the page for nearly a minute before any writing appears.]

Well, that's different. I can't say today started off boring, at least.

The Wilderness has changed into [pause, more water drips] something very interesting this time.

Yeah, I'd stay to examine one, but I think I've already experienced enough of this wilderness to last me a while.

I know her--we met up to explore Tokyo a week or so ago. She's still missing?

I'm sorry, but I haven't seen her since [slight pause] a few days ago, at an Adventurer meeting.

I saw her yesterday, but she didn't come home last night. [pentaps] Now I'm wondering if she got lost in Tokyo and ended up falling into a spring.

It's possible. [Pause. Doesn't want to say that maybe she fell in one while sleeping, or anything horrible like that, so...] I'll keep an eye out for her as long as I'm still down here, maybe she's stuck as a dog or something and can't talk to anyone.

Watch out for the springs--if you turn into a cat, no one will be able to talk to the animals here.
