I would like there to be a sane way to produce em-dashes on a keyboard.
Note that I say that with civility only by the use of all restraint I remain capable of in my disheveled state.
The Unicode alt-code for the em-dash has the unfortunate habit of making my browser retreat a page and my text editor spaz. Both reactions are contrary to the act of writing-and I rely on the em-dash to get me through the day. I can only really use them properly in Latex.
If the fucking pipe symbol "|" gets to be on a keyboard, why can't any horizontal line beyond the hyphen? Granted, that's a rhetorical query.
Would I also like hairspaces and interrobangs‽ Yes, but I can live without or with using Unicode on the subject.
And yes, the preceding paragraph existed solely for the sake of using an interrobang.
