Christmas draws nearer folks, and with it my birthday and our trip to Tahoe. The anticipation cannot be measured.
I had the pleasure of seeing RJD2 at UC Berkeley on Sunday night. Joe C. was nice enough to give me and Ronald a ride. I was really impressed with his humble attitude and his ability to keep up with 6 turntables.
After RJD2 played his set Lyrics Born played. I have to be honest... I'm not a fan of LB. But surprisingly enough he put on a pretty good show, his whole band is really talented and can jam it out proper. It's just the repitive vocal tones and the "everybody scream!" "make some noise!" "hands in the air!" " i can't hear you!" type bullshit that reminds me of a great Steve Harvey quote. "Muthafucka, YOU scream!" :)
We're launching Scrinpalace.net January of 06 *cross your fingers* I've started working on some art for it. It will be a website/radio station that will promote good music of all kinds. And local music too, hopefully. We're aiming to a very art oriented audience so I hope everything goes as planned. Want your own radioshow?
