I had a dream a few nights ago that I was being chased by a zombie girl with a dark complection and medium-long matted hair(almost dread-locks, but not in locks). I tricked her into following me into a coop/shed. After she entered, I ran out and shut the door and locked her in. Zombie girl kicked her foot through the bottom of the door. I realized that if she got out, she would most probably chase me until I fatigued, pass out, and become zombie chow. So, I grabbed her leg that was now, slightly, kicked through the door and started twisting it. My goal was to break her leg off at the knee. This commotion attracted the town folk(Imagine angry mob from a frankenstein movie, but curious as opposed to angry). I finally managed to snap of the zombie girl's leg. Then one of the towns folk handed me a hammer so that when we let the zombie girl out I could finish her off. Everyone backed away and we let her out. I prepared myself to attack... but as she lunged at me(one-legged) the townsfolk jumped in her way and held her back(also preventing me from attacking). They talked gently and lovingly to her, which seemed to subtly transform her from a zombie to a scared beast-child. Then they told her she would need to take night classes to learn how to not be a zombie anymore. She reacted adversly to this and ran(with two legs now?) away screaming "No, noooooo!" but was already becoming more human than zombie/beast-child. Before I awoke, the dream me was frustrated that he didn't get the chance to thrash the zombie to bits with a hammer... and was even more frustrated that he still felt this way despite haveing discovered a way to cure zombies. Then I woke up.
In re-pondering the dream... I'm not sure what actually cured the zombie... was it the love and compassion which the towns folk showed her... or impending night classes for zombie re-eduction?
