"If I go crazy, then will you still call me superman?
If I'm alive then will you be there holding my hand?
I'll keep you by my side, with my superhuman might.
Kryptonite."
She saw how he looked into her eyes. She knew things were ending. Her little fairy tale happiness was coming to a halt, was crashing before her eyes. She knew it before they were told to her. But when he looked at her the way he did, she saw her entire world falling apart. It ruined her day. How silly that one look from him could damage an entire day. How silly how one look from him could make her regret everything in her life. But that's how the world went. You were given obstacles so you could push through them. And if you didn't get through them, you'd be forever stuck in the same place as you were. She tried to get past his glares, the way he didn't smile when she looked at him as he did before. But when she remembered them throughout the day, she just couldn't find the means to look past the silent glare she was given. She made an honest mistake. She chose to follow her mind over her heart because of her silly jealousy. She thought he could be won over by someone else. She thought that maybe he would choose someone else over her. How silly of a jealousy to ruin so long of building up. She could feel things were different. Now, he would never choose her. She knew she had broken apart everything she had helped build with him. She honestly loved him. No doubt in her silly little mind, she loved that boy with everything inside of her. She was never more sure. But he stood by and let her go as if wanting to let her go. As if for some unknown reason, he thought he could let her fall into her own doom. But try as she might, she couldn't crawl her way out of his one. She loved him, but he thought she didn't deserve to win. So he would dangle the prize mere feet from her face. And she would run as if hoping he would give it to her. But in the end, the prize was never hers to win. He would always dangle it in front of her for her to try and chase. In the end, he would never want her to win so he just wouldn't let her catch it. Falling into her own demise, she followed it like a love-struck idiot. No longer would she be an idiot. But if her Prince reads this, she wants him to see through this and see how much of an idiot he made her into. And how she would never fall into the same idiocy again. Thanks to you, I'm not an idiot. Thanks for never taking the chance to see through me.
