Inoo opened up and led them inside, then served snacks. The deafening silence between the three continued to spread and the oldest knew what was going on basing with the situation and their expressions.
"Something the matter?" he finally broke it off, grabbling for the information himself. He took a deep breath as Yamada glared at him, eyes flashing anger and pain at the same time.
"I need to hear you say sorry to us" the youngest spoke. Daiki abruptly turned to his boyfriend, he didn't know what was happening anymore. He already felt like Yamada's give in and allow him to be happy; but.."You know that he's my boyfriend and you touched him still. Apologize" his voice was firm, and
"I'm sorry" Inoo did as he was told and that was all that it took for Yamada to drag Daiki up from the couch again then to the main door to leave
"Promise me Inoo-chan, promise me that you will not do that. Because if you don't, I'm going to forget that you are my best friend" Yamada huffed out on him as he followed them. Trying to stop Yamada from what he was doing but to no avail
"You're hurting him" Inoo frowned as Daiki was forced into the car, with the whole ten minutes of them being together; Daiki hasn't opened his mouth to say something. But even before he could more business regarding the latter, Yamada had already closed the car and glared at him once more
"Promise me, Inoo-chan. Promise." Yamada's expression didn't budge
"Okay" he gulped, nodding slowly but was deserted as almost immediately the youngest got into his car, and drove away after saying a small thank you.
..
There was silence in the car as Yamada finally decided to pull over an empty street. His breath coming out heavily like his feelings, he clutched on the steering wheel then looked at Daiki who was just looking ahead as well.
"You didn't need to do that" Daiki mumbled, looking at him. "You didn't need to make him hope that you’d let me go and then blast into Kei, just to say that he has to stay away from me."
Another silence and Daiki decided to unlock his seatbelt, ready to leave but Yamada had already locked all the doors and he had no way to open them. He pulled and pushed on the door's lock, but to no avail.
"Where are you taking me? I want to go home!" he screamed but Yamada didn't say a word as he started the car again.
The destination was unknown for him, and thus he stayed silent. After an hour of drive, the younger one finally entered a familiar place. An amusement park
"What the hell are we doing here?" he asked incredulously.
"Give me one more chance Dai-chan. One more please, I will make you fall in love again." Yamada begged. He got off the car and went over the passenger's seat as well, forcing Daiki to step out too. "After this day, please. Just this day, and I will make you remember that you love me too"
Guilt washed over Daiki's anger. He's the reason that Yamada's behaving this way. And he loved him too, very dearly and that'd be the reason why he just allowed the latter to drag him inside and buy the special tickets.
Maybe he was just forgetting, and he just has to forget as well.
Call him selfish or what, but the treats and games that Yamada gave him the whole day wasn't as great and as enjoyable as Inoo's. He thought that maybe he was just not ready to face Yamada yet, but..all through the day, he realized he ended up forcing himself to enjoy.
"Dai-chan can you say you love me too, now?" Yamada asked, pressing their foreheads together as they got to the Ferris wheel.
He felt Yamada's grip on his nape tightening at every second he was staying in silence; it's painful.
