General thoughts (BSG related - what else do I use LJ for?) ;-)

*snerk!* That's pretty much how it is for me too...but I'm slowly branching out. :-)
I would've liked "Epiphanies" to have focused more on Laura than it did - at least when compared to how Lee- and Kara-centric "Blackmarket" & "Scar" were. But that's just me.

They did?! Was this mentioned in the podcast? Aw man, that stinks... >:/
Now if only TPTB that put so much creative energy into Starbucks character development chose to do such a good job with everyone else.
Totally agreed Iar! It's clear RDM has the hots for Kara/Katie (and I'm pretty sure he's developing serious hots for Sharon/Grace). I think if RDM had his way, BSG would be the "All Starbuck & Sharon, All The Time" Show. This, of course, is totally unacceptable - BSG should be the "All A/R, All The Time" Show. ;->
Oh, and BTW your food pyramid works for me - esp. the wine part, because of its health benefits. :-D

The scene that was cut was in the script. It was actually on the bottom of a page of casting sides that we saw on the net (well the start of it anyway). It starts with Adama dropping by sickbay and goes something like (and this is from memory):
Adama: "How are you feeling?"
Roslin; "Aweful, but I'm still here. (pause) and you're much too busy for a casual bedside chat" [cont on next page]
Re: Kara and Sharon. I have to agree. Its not screentime that I have an issue with. Its quality of characterisation. I mean they have two brilliant high calibre actors in MM and EJO. I wish they'd give them something really meaty to deal with. An episode that genuinely focuses on the two. Actually add James Callis to that group. I'm really impressed by him.
Yeh its a great food pyramid isn't it *L* I actually figure that wine comes under the fruit and veggies section. It's grape juice after all. That seems okay right? ;)
