Had uncertain decisions to make about my concession card but I just did it anyway to save my mother the money. Sheesh. It is unfair how Polytechnic students have to pay more than JC students. Firstly, we have to pay much more for our school fees which are so totally not well subsidised by the government.Secondly, we are almost the same age as JC students and should not be considered as 'Adults' quite yet cos' we are not even 18, let alone 21.Thirdly, adult fares are so expensive these days and it is ridiculous. 100 bucks on transport a month? LTA, what the fuck are you thinking? No wonder JC students are so much richer. They don't pay much for school and they pay peanuts for their fares. And while others wait to get posted to their polytechnics, they are being sucked dry by paying adult fares until they start school in April. Wait, WE ARE PAYING ADULT FARES EVEN WITH A POLY CARD. Totally outrageous.
