If the timing is right I don't see why it wouldn't be a good idea to tell someone how you feel about them. How will you know if they like you in return if someone doesn't take that first step. Isn't that what dating is pretty much about, shuffling through potential partners that you will be with the rest of your life. But if it a work related crush you must be wary that it doesn't affect your job.
