Me and my dad were rebuilding a 71 Chevelle SS. It was blue, with white racing stripes. Small block 350. Supercharged.
We had a 71 El Camino. It was supposed to be my first car. We were gonna drop a rebuilt 305 that we started building, but never finished, and eventualy we sold the ElCam.
I hope he moves down here when he retires in a couple years, I'd like to pick that back up. Some father/son bonding over a small block Chevy is what life in the Moore family is all about. I hold the light, run and find tools, and clean parts while he turns wrenches, busts knuckles on cold steel, and yells.

Life goal #893454- Rebuild a classic american muscle car. Either with my dad, or with my son.
I've got it narrowed down to 4 cars.
1. 69 Camaro SS. Burnt orange with white racing stripes.
2. 71 Chevelle SS. Blue with metal flake and black racing stripes.
3. 57 Corvette. Red with white racing stripes
4. 64 1/2 Mustang. Red. Convertable.
Even though we have so little in common and hardly ever talk, I really miss my dad sometimes. I wish he could be here, instead of Alaska.
I sure am blessed to have had such wonderful parents during my formative years.
