I'm not exactly sure where to start this chapter. Or where to end it. She's one of the few people in my life that I will always be grateful for. Without her, I doubt I would have turned out to be the person I am today.
I'll never forget the first time we met. We were at a bar in Dallas. Of course. Her friend was dating one of my friends, so that was my "in". I was initially attracted to her smile, but after talking to her, her lust for life was obviously her best quality. I think the alcohol had something to do with it too. We talked, danced, and drank more. After about a week, she consumed every thought I had. She was amazing. A bright young woman on the fast track to success. Always on the go. Sexy, wild, crazy... everything I loved in a woman.
Our first "date" started quite akwardly when I found out her little secret. At first I thought nothing of it, but in hindsight, it was kind of a big deal. I still can hardly believe it. She was still a child. Not even old enough to be in the places we met, and far to young to be doing a lot of the things we did. You would have never known though. Our first "date" ended with another secret as well, a secret that shaped our entire relationship.
....................
That's all I have for now. You'll have to buy the book to find out more.
