What a great christmas.
Yesterday... mom's... nice to be with family, especialy Mr. Kyeler... then off to my cousin's cousin's... got to be Santa for the kids. It was so great to be able to help out with that.. then I drove to Nacogdocious to get my cousin... in the pouring rain...I missed church and dinner, and my sis and Jerremy told them that I went out drinking with a friend that I only get to see twice a year, so they were pretty upset that I wasn't there... and I got a lil upset on the way when I was listening to Christmas carrols and wishing I was in church. I started to cry when I heard "Silent night" and "Oh Holy Night"... those two songs always get the tears flowing... but yeah.
It was *SO* nice to be able to bring the family together today though. My family was *so* happy to see Doodles. I think my uncle was about to cry. My cousin didn't have to spend Christmas all alone, and I was given a full pardon and I was given special treatment the whole day. I even got to sit in my Uncle's chair, and I got to fix my plate first.
I didn't really get a whole lot this christmas, and I was really upset because I couldn't afford to get anyone anything for christmas, but in the end, I learned that Christmas is about giving, and while giving, it's not what you spend, but who you spend it with. I'm truely blessed to have such a wonderful family.
I just wish I could have had ALL my family here. I miss my daddy :( I haven't got to spend a Christmas with him in longer than I can remember. But I got to talk to him on the phone, and he's doing alright right now.
I have a very full and happy heart right now.
