If you could live anywhere...in the UK.....

.....where would you live?

I am thinking/planning/scheming to move to the UK as soon as I can. Although, I would LOVE to live in London, I don't think I can afford it. I am thinking the Cardiff area is more likely.

Where you YOU recommend a single, "young-thinking" 40-something live? Cardiff? Penarth? Sully?

Or maybe, where would you recommend I steer clear of?

Any thoughts, comments or suggestions would be helpful.
