That email! Did they say (explicitly) on the show that Martha's with Tom now?! I'm all WOOOHOOOO! :D :D but it makes me think that I must not have been paying attention at all when it came up on the show ...

See, I also don't remember her ever saying who her boyfriend is, although she does say he saved her life - which could suggest Tom. Although between the year that never happened and working at UNIT there's probably been a lot of opportunities for people to step in and save her life.

I'd sort of like to take this as confirmation that it is him, but they make some blinding mistakes on these things (don't peer too closely at the Electro leaflet - huge mistake - and for the actual episode we're watching). So...

It could just be a presumption from the people writing the website. Simultaneously, they could have been told that's the case or depending where they're based, they could know the actor is back for Season 4 and put 2 and 2 together. Plus we don't know who writes the messages (in the past Julie Gardener was involved...)

Overall, I'd say it's a good sign that he is her boyfriend, but can't be absolute canon until it's confirmed on the show.

Oh, phew. I didn't completely miss it then. You're probably right, it's best to wait and see what DW s4 brings us ... but still ... I can't help it - SQUUUEEE!!! ;D

It's probably just me being very silly, but what mistake? I'm looking for one and can't see it o.0
I'll probably kick myself when I work it out...

I don't think they ever did say it, because when I just read that my first thought was 'Yay, we actually know for sure her boyfriend is Tom!' *squee*
