Notes: A double drabble for tw100 challenge: Out of the frying pan into the fire. Since LJ is being a butthead since last night decided a double was in order. Hopefully this posts since I can't post from the site.
More Than A Little Surprised
"Ianto, I'm pregnant."
Three words Ianto never expected to hear from Jack. They weren't a couple by any definition. It was just something to make the time pass faster and not seem so lonely...at least that is what Ianto has convinced himself. And Jack convinced himself for that matter.
It was why the stunned look on Ianto's face broke Jack's heart. It was as if Ianto didn't want the baby. And the words that followed cut like a knife. "Not funny." There was a pause before the most crushing words were spoke. "Is it mine?"
Just as things started to fall into place during Jack's first ultrasound, was when things went wrong. It could have been a good thing in the right time and place, but this wasn't it.
"What the hell?" Owen examined the image. "Do 51st century people breed like cats?" He pointed to the five small images on the screen.
"Fuck!" Ianto muttered before passing out.
Eventually, Ianto began to enjoy the idea of becoming a parent, but he was woefully unprepared for five daughters at once.
Out of the frying pan into the fire, back to the pan ending in fire at the end.
